20 elementary school kids registered by October 1
What
A weekly class on Bible history
Where
Bethany Lutheran Church, at 12th St. & Thompson
When
Early release Fridays (when school meets), beginning October 21, 2011
Why
To provide a place for kids to come on early release days and learn Bible history.
How
Kids can take the bus to 12th & Thompson at 1:30, then either get picked up by parents or driven home by volunteers (with a parental release).

If you have any questions, please use the Contact link to the left. To register, you can print off the Registration Form, print it out, and drop it off at church by the first day your child attends. For registration, we need your phone and address, the names and number of children, their grade levels, and the schools they attend. By registering, you are granting us permission to care for your children during Bible School in the ways we consider to be best.

We plan to provide refreshments. If your children have any particular needs (allergies, medication, etc.), please include that information too. If you would like a church volunteer to drive your child home after Bible School, we can arrange that.

For students that will take the bus to Bethany, the transportation office of District 21 needs parents' permission so that their children may be dropped off at E. 12th St. and Thompson. Here is a permission slip that you may fill out and return to Bethany, which we will deliver to Debbie Park at the transportation office. There are two bus routes that may be used, depending upon how full the busses are.

Completed forms may be mailed to 2323 E. 12th St., dropped off at the church (though you may want to call first to be sure someone is there), or emailed to pas...@bethanythedalles.org (click the "..." to reveal the address).

Our curriculum consists of Bible stories from the Old Testament, told in connection with the New Testament. Parents are encouraged to discuss the lessons with their children, perhaps even reading supplemental parts of the Bible to them.

We believe, teach, and confess that the Bible is God's Word. You can find more information about what be believe on this web site.
